[Rock steps out of a music store carrying a toolbox. He stares out at the street, clearly confused. He ducks into the store, again before stepping out, looking absolutely bewildered.]

Hello? I was just trying to get to the kitchen, when... uh...

[He looks around again, worry clear in his eyes.]

Doctor Light? Roll? Hello? The heck is going on?

[Okay, so a new city wasn't always a bad thing to see! At least here, nobody recognized him. Take in some sights, go see a movie, analyze potential security flaws, valuable hostages, etc, all in a day's work for the good doctor, right? Of course, he's not all serious and hardworking about conquering the world all the time. Even mad scientists need a day off once in awhile, right? Of course, being that he hasn't tried to take over yet, he'll freely ignore claims of being evil. After all, he's turned over a new leaf!

That is, until he decides otherwise. For now, though, you might catch this particular Wily heading into or out of a movie theater, or maybe buying some ice cream. Certainly not the picture of anyone suspicious, aside from that hair. Just remarkably unfriendly.]

[This...was not what he had expected. Had he done everything right?

Yes, yes he did. After stumbling around in the forest for a teleporter after his fight with Web Spider sent his hardsuit to near zero charge (why--why did they keep insisting on fighting?! This was what he and Iris were trying to prevent!), he'd managed to find one hidden behind a few small bushes. It was old, but after X crawled under the thing and did some basic repairs it seemed to run just fine.

He'd set up the coordinates to Hunter Base, and he'd pressed the button. He'd felt that momentary agony of teleportation--

--and ended up in the wrong place entirely.

He didn't have time for this.

X leaned against a nearby building, tapping the transceiver button on the side of his helmet in hopes for something to give. While the HUD was proudly on 3-D display, nothing was working.

Nothing.]

Did the teleporter fry the circuit? Nav systems aren't working, and now this. I might have to do some repairs and recharge before I try teleporting back.

[Just his luck. With Repliforce and the Hunters at each others' throats and a war exploding in the distance, stupid X managed to pull a dumb move and fry his suit on top of ending up in unfamiliar territory.]

[OOC: Here, have a pretty AU Human!X. He's taken from the X4 timeline, in which he had been currently trying to help Iris get Zero, her brother, and the lot of Hunters and Repliforce to use their brains for once. I've never used him anywhere outside a fanfic verse (from which he originates), so please treat him kindly.]

It didn't really matter how he arrived here, only why. Of course, the delusional robot was so convinced of his own divine purpose that he was certain he knew exactly why he'd been brought to this city. The confidence showed in the folded arms and the sure steps that carried him down the middle of a main street, holding up traffic without a care. The wind was even so kind as to lend a convenient breeze and flutter his cape dramatically.

Pharaoh Man grinned beneath his mask. Clearly this new world existed for him to explore!

The rift is rather quiet, lately. It has been for some time. Long-time members of the city know better though - that was only the calm before the mechanical storm. Soon enough, the rift rumbles again and a new wave of visitors begin to arrive all at once!

Some of these newcomers might notice a bright red metal device fit perfectly to their wrist. There is no apparent way to remove the device and any attempts to break it prove that it is nearly indestructible. More troubling is the ominous digital timer on the top of the device, slowly ticking down from 01:00:00. One hour.

What the new arrivals don't know is that in one hour, the devices will explode... Into confetti! The device is basically a timed Party Ball you wear on your wrist, complete with happy jingle and a teeny-tiny banner that says, "WERCOME TO HAPPY CITY, ARR OF GUEST!"
